Troup High School Homecoming 2025

The Troup Tigers kept their perfect season alive with a dominant performance on both sides of the ball. Moving to 6-0 for the first time since 2022.
Garrison Edwards, already on the “must-watch” list, led the offensive charge responsible for multiple rushing touchdowns, including a highlight-reel 59-yard score that lit up the stadium. The Tigers played most of the game on the ground with Javarris Warner and Trent Hodo.
On defense, KJ McQueen was relentless, racking up tackles at an incredible pace, including an interception. Monyah Johnson also made a home in the backfield getting tackles at the line of scrimmage and a few for negative yards.
McCarty Harrelson made key contributions to special teams, including a solid 29-yard kick, while Davis Moncus added more firepower to an already unstoppable Tiger squad.

Troup’s offense visited the redzone 7 times and scored on 5 of those trips.
The Tiger defense had a strong outing, only allowing Upson-Lee into the redzone 3 times and keeping points off the board on two of those trips. Upson-Lee didn’t score until the very end of the 4th quarter with 12 seconds left on the clock.
Both the offense and defense were in sync, showing why the Tigers are becoming a force to be reckoned with this season.
As the Tigers pass the halfway mark in the season, they can’t help but think of a playoff birth. With four games remaining the season, the battle is far from over as they face two powerhouse region games at home: LaGrange(6-1) on 10/17 and Sandy Creek(6-0) on 10/31. Troup will visit Trinity Christian(2-5) on 10/10 and Spalding(1-6) on 10/23.
